Welcome to the family, Peanut! She’s a 6 yo welshX, standing at 13.3hh she is the smallest horse I’ve ever owned and ridden!
I’m so excited! We got her to keep Sidney company, and for me to train, and possibly show in the jumper ring. I wish she were about 14.2 so I’d fit better but I’ll take what I can get haha.
But anyways, this is my pony :D
Blackie was amazing in today’s lesson!
But, the saddle fitter needs to come out as I’m worried his back has changed and the saddle may not fit as well as it did.
Also, filled out all the entry forms we will need for this season! Organized them by date, and will get copies of his coggins attached. Then once I get my next pay check I will envelope them, and send them off once the opening dates come. Yes, I do enjoy organization.
Also, the day after we go to a jumper show we will be at a derby! Very excited :)
Riding Blackie today, going on a trail ride with one of my friends from the barn.
We have a show in less than two weeks- going to try out the jumpers with him :)
And going to work hard these next few weeks to get to cantering courses rather than just cantering out of lines!
Since I am unable to ride until tomorrow my friend rode Blackie in her lesson today- they did so well! Blackie was very testy, and pretended to be greener than he is; but she rode him through it and had some very good moments! She’s the only person to ever ride him other than my trainer and I. :)
Tomorrow I will be bareback trail riding because I’m still not 100% with my foot; hopefully I will be soon, because we have a show in two weeks!
Seems we recieved High Point Junior overall at the show :)
Also got 2 firsts and a third! Awesome! Happy one year undersaddle bean :)
… Tomorrow! We will be heading to UNH for the Wentworth Hunt Club Dressage show. I’m hoping for 3 well ridden tests and a smooth, relaxed ride. BlackDiamond is just waiting for the carrots he will get once we are done!
Wish us luck!
BlackDiamond and I at the UNH TSAS Two-Phase 4/21/13. Received 4th place with a Dressage score of 45.5, and went clear in Show Jumping. We have a dressage show May 5th, hoping that goes well also.
I’d say so far we are doing quite well- we’ve only done two shows but have received two second placings, and one fourth placing. And every ride has been phenomenal.
We may be moving this summer, to a small farm. I’m thinking of calling it North River Stables, and starting my equestrian career there. Hopefully the stars and moons align to make this happen for us.

Sorry for not being on much! I’m preparing for Blackie and My trip to South Carolina!
We’ll be in Aiken, SC for the rest of March and April!
Message me if you’ll be there also? :)
So, my first picture i posted (of blackie, my dark bay) has over 170 notes. Thats amazing. Like.. Omg, thank you all.
I thought i should at least indroduce myself, considering im on my phone and i cant update my info or anything like that..
Well, im Alexandra. I have been riding for 3 years. I used to do hunters and equitation (and two western pleasure shows) now i aman eventer, jumper, and dressage rider. My foot has been broken many times. I have a rescue tb. The biggest fence i have succesfully jumped was 4’3, it was thrilling. I am in the US. I am from Area 1, and go down to Aiken SC for a month in the winter. I currently have 2 horses, and a horse i borrow sometimes for shows. Oh, also im 16 and 5’8” (too tall for ponies but that doesnt stop me)
I think thats everything.
All i do is winwinwin no matter whatwhatwhat
My horse. Rescued in November 2011, this photo was in October 2012. This was after being under saddle for 5 months. He’s come so far <3
